overview | traditional Chinese medicine psoralen is a dry and mature fruit of leguminous plant psoralen. it is warm in nature and pungent in taste. it has the effect of tonifying kidney and helping yang. it is mainly used to treat kidney deficiency, cold diarrhea, impotence, frequent urination, low back and knee cold pain, asthenia cough, and external application can treat vitiligo. Modern studies have shown that psoralea coralea has biological activities such as dilating blood vessels, increasing myocardial contractility, antibacterial, anti-tumor, estrogen-like and treating vitiligo. The chemical composition of psoralea corylifolia is complex. So far, more than 40 compounds such as coumarin, flavonoids, isoflavones, chalcone and terpene phenols have been isolated from them at home and abroad, some of which are physiologically active substances, such as psoralen and isopsoralen It can inhibit the growth of human gastric cancer cell BGC- 823, and psoralea corylifolia has cytotoxic activity on human gastric cancer cell SNU - 1 and SNU -16. In the process of studying anti-cancer plant DNA cleavage agents, it was found that the ethanol extract of psoralea corylifolia had a strong cleavage effect on DN A. In order to discover the DNA cleavage agent with anticancer effect, the chemical composition of psoralen was isolated and identified. Four compounds were obtained from them, and their structures were determined by spectral analysis (nuclear magnetic resonance hydrogen spectrum, carbon spectrum and mass spectrum) as psoralen chalcone (bavachalcone), psoralen chromophorin, pine alcohol and p-hydroxybenzaldehyde respectively. |
use | psoralen chalcone soluble liquid can be used in rice, apples and various vegetables to prevent and control rice blast, apple rot, cucumber anthracnose, tomato late blight, pepper anthracnose, cucumber gray mold, rice sheath blight and other plant fungal diseases, it can also be used to control important plant diseases such as tomato mosaic virus disease, soybean mosaic virus disease, tobacco mosaic virus disease, tobacco potato virus Y disease, etc. |
biological activity | psoralea corylifolia chalcone (Bavachalcone) is a compound isolated from psoralea corylifolia, widely used in traditional Chinese medicine, with antibiotic and anti-cancer activities. |
